[DDI-SRG] Timing of Schema vote

Mary,

I believe our original time line had us getting the revised schemas out
for review by the end of the first full week of April so that Expert
Committee members would have 2 weeks to review and then a week to vote
before the end of April. We have now gotten through all of the existing
bugs but have run into a bit of a scheduling problem terms of getting the
updated schemas and field level documentation updated along with
preliminary updates to the higher level metadata.

We would like to extend the deliver date to April 19th. This moves the
review to the last two weeks of April and a vote during the first week of
May. Essentially this only moves it back one week from original plan so we
are hoping it will not be a problem.

Please note that we would once again put out the vote as a vote of
approval on the schemas to include agreed changes that arose during review
(typographical corrections, documentation improvement, etc.). For example
Parts I and II may only be in draft form during the review period.

On a related note, I will be creating an updated verion of DDI 3.0 Part I
and II to reflect comments received during workshops and best practice
development. This version will continue to be supported through improved
documentation and the Best Practice publications developed at Dagstuhl.

Please let us know if this scheduling change causes major problems. Our
primary concern is that due to other committements we won't get a chance
to work on the schemas until April 5 and we need two weeks to make sure we
are accurate in the updates.
