Wendy and all:
You cannot have an explicit declaration for the xml prefix = namespace,
it is actually reserver and implicitly defined.
Basically, you never need to define the xml prefix.

Namespace Constraint: Leading "XML"
Prefixes beginning with the three-letter sequence x, m, l, in any case
combination, are reserved for use by XML and XML-related specifications.
