[DDI-SRG] DDI 3.0

Janet,

This is what I have to date on the use of DDI 3.0. There are a number of 
places currently reviewing it for use or doing internal development with 
DDI 3.0 but nothing viewable. Given training, content development and 
programming to put a new structure online, this is pretty good in less 
than a year.

Usage of DDI 3.0 (2009-01-28)

ICPSR is using it in the sense that their database is DDI 3 complient.
Export capabilities are not yet available but the display of variables in
the new variables database will be DDI 3.

There was a meeting on the usage of DDI in GESIS. They are currently in 
the process of
collecting information on the use of DDI 2 elements in the
various GESIS areas and which elements of 3.0 are planned for usage.

The Canadian RDC network DDI 3 material is only available within an RDC.
This is also true of the IAB. Pascal and Jostein
have just delivered on a project called SurveyLang which is DDI 3.0-based
educational training. There is the LISS CentreData project we saw
at Dagstuhl - the survey is online.
