Someone pointed out to us last week that the Semantic Interoperability 
Center Europe at:

might be a good place to advocate DDI

I would suggest for the UOG to create a generic account for the DDI 
Alliance and submit DDI as a new asset at:
http://www.semic.eu/semic/view/Account/Login.xhtml?cid=3346

Noticed that SDMX was recently added to the list:
http://www.semic.eu/semic/view/Asset/Asset.SingleView.xhtml?id=89
(this is the only asset listed in the "Social Affairs" category)
