[DDI-SRG] Instrument Documentation use case

Hello,

 

We've spent the past several months working on some survey instrument
documentation and analysis software. The goal of this software is to
automatically generate documentation from survey instrument source code. As
part of this, we are making heavy use of the Instrument section of DDI 3. We
will be sending some sample DDI output to the ID list shortly, and will be
working with them (and presumably this group as well) to refine the ID
section so instruments can be represented as accurately as possible in DDI
3.

 

Attached is a use case form describing our project in a bit more detail.
Sorry for submitting this a bit late in the process. Please let me know if
it should be submitted somewhere else, or if this is sufficient.

 

We do already have some specific feedback regarding the DDI model. Is it
best to submit that here, or through the new Mantis system, or using some
other mechanism?
