[DDI-CDG] Cross-national and diachronic, the variable level

Hello,


To maintain the interest in this challenging matter, here a diagramm, which 
illustrates the points made in the text distributed shortly. Adding a 
legend to the drawings,some text was added, which is redundant to the 
document in some degree. So there are now two approaches to the topic, one 
textual, the other graphic.


I have given a look at the grouping information Wendy has sent to the 
group. It seems that the CDG is mainly concerned by overall structures, as 
Wendy has pointed out. We still have to decide where we want to go to as a 
subgroup.
