alliance-experts -- DDI Alliance expert committee list

About alliance-experts
English (USA)

The Alliance for the Data Documentation Initiative (DDI) is an
organization formed to establish an
international standard and methodology for the content, presentation,
transport, and preservation of "metadata" about datasets in the
social and behavioral sciences.

The decision-making body charged with the development of the DDI
specification is called the Alliance Expert Committee. Alliance
member institutions each appoint one representative to the Expert
Committee. The purpose of this list is to allow the Alliance Experts
to communicate with each other to facilitate their work.

The current DDI specification is an eXtensible Markup Language (XML)
Document Type Definition (DTD) that expresses the DDI model. To see
the DTD and other information about the project please go to the <A
href=HTTP://www.icpsr.umich.edu/DDI/> DDI Web site </a>.
