Biography:

William G. Jacoby is a Professor of Political Science at Michigan State University and Editor of the American Journal of Political Science. His areas of specialization are mass political behavior and quantitative methodology. His substantive research focuses on ideology and personal value choices in public opinion and voting behavior. His methodological interests include measurement theory, scaling methods, and statistical graphics.
