Ken Bollen is the H.R. Immerwahr Distinguished Professor of Sociology and the Director of the Howard W. Odum Institute for Research in Social Science. He is a member of the Statistical Core and a Fellow of the Carolina Population Center and an adjunct professor of Statistics. Bollen?s primary areas of NIH and NSF supported statistical research are in structural equation models and latent curve models. Much of his substantive work is in population studies and cross-national analyses of democratization.
