Registering to Attend (Required)
You must register by September 1, 2011 to attend the 2011 ICPSR meeting. To obtain accurate counts for seating and catering, we will be asking about your attendance to several events.
For access to Wi-Fi during the meeting, you must register in advance. If you are unsure, we encourage you to sign up for an account. Better not to use the account than to not have one should you desire to bring your laptop later!
There are no fees to register for this meeting.
You do NOT need to register if you are planning to attend virtually using our livestream.
Please review the preliminary schedule and program content found on the Program & Workshops pages. As part of the registration process, you will be asked to register for workshops WiFi access, and the shuttle bus returning to Metro Airport on Friday, October 7. You will also be asked about your intent to attend various events (banquet, receptions) and program sessions as we strive to provide adequate seating and catering.
Don't be afraid to register early. You can easily update your registration preferences by clicking on the link below. The software will recognize the computer from which you originally registered, so you must use the same computer for any updates. Registration and updates will close on September 1, 2011.
Finally, ICPSR is using registration software (SurveyMonkey) and you will directed out of the meeting site during registration. Once you have completed your registration, you will be directed back to the OR Meeting Web site.
Arrival and Registration Desk

After arriving in Ann Arbor, registered workshop attendees may pick up their registration packets on Wednesday, October 5, starting at 8:30 a.m. (Wolverine Room) in their workshop rooms at The Michigan Union. Those attending the OR Orientation or ICPSR refresher courses may pick up their packets in the Michigan Union's Kuenzel Room starting at 1:30pm. Only registered workshop attendees may pick up their registration packets at the workshop locations in The Michigan Union on Wednesday. Any unclaimed workshop attendee registration packets will be moved to the Perry Building at 4:30 p.m.
Registration packets will be available to all attendees at 5:30 p.m. during the Opening Reception held at the Perry Building.
Thursday/Friday, October 6/7, 2011
For the remainder of the meeting, the registration desk will be located Michigan Union Lobby (First Floor) in The Michigan Union. Desk hours:
- 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Thursday
- 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday
