THE HANES WALTON, JR. AWARD FOR QUANTITATIVE METHODS TRAINING
The Hanes Walton Jr. Award for Quantitative Methods Training will provide recipients with an opportunity to enhance their quantitative reasoning and statistical methods accumen by attending the ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research.
The award is a waiver of Program Scholar fees to attend the four and/or eight week ICPSR Summer Program. There will be one award per category: (1) Graduate Students in PhD programs who have acquired ABD status; and (2) Tenure-Track & Non-Tenured Faculty. Awardees will also be eligible for a small travel stipend provided by NCOBPS. There are no citizenship requirements, and awardees will be selected regardless of race, national origin, religion, gender, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
