Summary: This data collection contains population estimates by age, sex, and race for each of the 3,145 counties and county equivalents in the United States as defined in the 1970 Census. The estimates are for July 1 of 1980, 1981, and 1982. Variables include the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) state code, FIPS county code, county name, and population estimates broken down by age group, sex, and racial category.
