Summary: This study was conducted for the purpose of testing and improving field procedures prior to beginning the Chicano Survey of 1979. It was jointly funded by the National Institute of Mental Health and the University of Texas at Austin. Interviews were conducted in Travis County, Texas, from November 1978 to February 1979.
