Selected respondent: relationship to household informant

Notes: This represents information given in the household listing (screener). Before an interview could be conducted, the screener was completed by an adult household member (called 'the informant'), who listed all adult (17 years old or older) household members. The informant also provided age, race, gender, Latino status, citizenship status, and relationship to the informant for each listed member. The random selection of Respondent was made among the screener's eligible household members (citizens age 18 or older by October 30, 2008).
