The Self Perceptions instrument obtained preliminary information about the subjects' views of their abilities in math and reading, as well as overall self worth, social competence, and safety in their neighborhoods.

WAVE 3: The Self Perceptions instrument (PDF 2.3MG) was administered to subjects in Cohorts 3 and 6.
