General Help with Quantitative Data
There are many tutorials on other parts of the ICPSR Web site that you might find helpful in learning to navigate and use the site and the data it contains.
The Data Use Tutorial includes detailed information about searching for, accessing, downloading, and analyzing data from ICPSR.
There are a number of tutorials on SDA available on the ICPSR Web site. You can learn how to subset data in SDA, create crosstabs and view frequencies, or see an overview of SDA and its features.
Not all datasets in the ICPSR archive are available for use with the online analysis system. The list of SDA-enabled datasets is helpful in locating data for which analyses can be done using the online Survey Documentation and Analysis tools.
Finally, help exists for those who want to download data into SPSS, SAS, or Stata statistical packages in a video tutorials on using data.
