MHSAWT_C: MENTAL HEALTH ADULT SPLIT SAMPLE WEIGHT
The following variable, MHSAWT_C, is a weight variable created for mental health analysis for adult Sample A or Sample B. A separate post-stratification was done for both Sample A and Sample B so that the weights for each of the sub-samples were controlled to the Census population estimates for the civilian non-institutional population aged 18+. MHSAWT_C is set to zero for youths aged 12-17 and the 8 adults not assigned to either portion of the split sample. MHSAWT_C can be used for generating adult mental health estimates using Sample A data, or using Sample B data, separately. However, if mental health estimates are generated using both Sample A and Sample B combined data then ANALWT_C should be used.
