AMHOUTP3: RCVD OUTPATIENT MENTAL HEALTH TRT IN PST YR
The following variable, AMHOUTP3, is defined as SAS missing if a respondent reported receiving outpatient mental health treatment/counseling in the past year at "Some Other Place" (AUOPTYR=1 and AUOPOTOP=1) only and their write-in response was classified as an invalid outpatient mental health treatment/counseling location or alternative treatment/support (AUOPYRS2=7,8,10). In addition to the responses described above, respondents aged 12-17 and those coded as bad data, legitimate skip, don't know, refused, or blank (AUOPTYR=85,89,94,97,98,99) were also defined as SAS missing. A respondent was assigned a positive response if they indicated they had received outpatient mental health treatment/counseling in the past year (AUOPTYR=1) and they did not indicate an alternative source or invalid outpatient location (AUOPYRS2=7,8,10) as their only location for outpatient treatment.
