ADLTSAMP: ADULT MENTAL HEALTH SPLIT SAMPLE INDICATOR
NOTE: The variable ADLTSAMP reflects the split-sample
design in the 2004 NSDUH for respondents aged 18 or older.
Adults in Sample A received all relevant questions in the
Adult Mental Health module. Adults in Sample B received
only the questions corresponding to the edited variables
DSTNRVOS, DSTHOPLS, DSTRSTLS, DSTCHEER, DSTEFFRT, and
DSTNGOOD. Remaining variables in the Adult Mental Health
module were assigned legitimate skip codes for adults in
Sample B.
