Summary: This data collection provides information about sentencing patterns established by the United States District Courts for federal offenses. It is one of only a few studies that examine federal sentencing patterns, court involvement, sentencing, and criminal histories. Eleven types of crimes are included: bank robbery, embezzlement, income tax evasion, mail theft, forgery, drugs, random other, false claims, homicide, bribery of a public official, and mail fraud.
