Summary: The data contain records of arrests made by agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) during fiscal year 2002. The data were constructed from the DEA Defendant Statistical System file, and include only those arrests made within the United States and its territories. Suspects arrested by the DEA may immediately be transferred to state or local jurisdictions.
