Summary: The Master Facility Inventory data collection provides a comprehensive list of nursing, personal care, and domiciliary care facilities in the United States in 1976. The criteria for inclusion were that a facility provided medical, nursing, personal, or custodial care to groups of unrelated persons on an inpatient basis.
