This study contains longitudinal data developed and updated for use with CURRENT POPULATION SURVEY, 1973, AND SOCIAL SECURITY RECORDS: EXACT MATCH DATA (ICPSR 7616). Items provide demographic information, such as total earnings, date of birth, sex, and race, on 90,174 persons aged 14 and older in the United States in the period 1937-1975. Data Collection Notes:
(1) All records contain weights, which must be used in any analysis. (2) The codebook is provided by ICPSR as a Portable Document Format (PDF) file. The PDF file format was developed by Adobe Systems Incorporated and can be accessed using PDF reader software, such as the Adobe Acrobat Reader. Information on how to obtain a copy of the Acrobat Reader is provided on the ICPSR Web site.
Sample: A total of 90,174 persons aged 14 and older for whom earnings extracts were included in the CURRENT POPULATION SURVEY, 1973, AND SOCIAL SECURITY RECORDS: EXACT MATCH DATA (ICPSR 7616), in the period 1937-1975.
