Summary: This data collection provides information on the personal and professional characteristics of selected federal executive appointees in the cabinet departments, armed services, and some major regulatory and other agencies of government in the period 1932-1965. This period covers the tenure of Franklin Roosevelt as president of the United States. Demographic items specify principal occupation of respondents before and after tenure of appointed positions, government and political party service, date and place of birth, education, military service, membership and leadership of clubs and organizations, political party affiliation, and religious preference.
