Summary: This data collection consists of public opinion surveys of the adult German population in November, 1968. Respondents were asked about their economic situation, the likelihood of inflation, the problems facing their communities and administrative responses to those problems, and their opinions of the chancellor, president, and the German political parties. (1) The documentation for this collection is presently available only in German. (2) the Public Opinion Survey: West Germany, November 1968 (ICPSR 7090) data are written in IBM column-binary format. The data are multiply-punched and are stored in EBCDIC. The file should be designated a binary file when used on a non-EBCDIC system.
