Summary: This study was conducted in 1964 in Caracas, Venezuela, at La Salle, a Catholic boys' school. The respondents' pride in their school, the type of education they were receiving, and a definition of the "La Salle spirit" were ascertained. The study also probed the respondents' attitudes toward sexual morality, sexual relations before marriage, and responsibility in cases of adultery. Scope of Study
Summary: This study was conducted in 1964 in Caracas, Venezuela, at La Salle, a Catholic boys' school. The respondents' pride in their school, the type of education they were receiving, and a definition of the "La Salle spirit" were ascertained. The study also probed the respondents' attitudes toward sexual morality, sexual relations before marriage, and responsibility in cases of adultery. Religious knowledge was assessed in questions about the Holy Mass and the Gospels, and the respondents' familiarity with diverse concepts such as communism, liberalism, and Christianity was also explored. Demographic variables cover age, mother's and father's marital status, and number of older and younger siblings.
