The variables JAILYR (YEAR OF JAIL ENTRY) and EXPYR (YEAR OF SENTENCE EXPIRED) include only the last two digits of the year. Users should assume that the years 70-99 are in the 1700s, and the years 00-60 correspond to the 1800s.
