Data-Driven Learning Guides are a collection of instructional exercises that can be used to enhance teaching of core concepts in the social sciences. This learning guide investigates the relationship between demographic characteristics and educational attainment. Research questions that can be explored using this guide include: whether demographic characteristics such as age, gender, race, nativity, or disability relate to educational attainment, and how they might relate, whether there is a relationship between educational attainment and income, and how social inequality may affect educational attainment. Frequencies, and comparison of means are used for the analyses.
