This survey, conducted biannually, was designed to provide states with more complete information about the attendance of their residents in colleges and to examine migration patterns of students in and out of state. The data are presented on the state of residence of first-time students by level of enrollment, including freshmen and transfer students at the undergraduate level, first-professionals, and graduates.
