Summary: The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) was designed to capture various aspects of firm creation and entrepreneurship across countries. The data have been collected over the course of 6 years (1998-2003) and includes responses from individuals in over 40 countries. The data were gathered from 138 separate surveys.
