Census of Population and Housing, 2000 [United States]: Modified Race Data Summary File (ICPSR 13574)
Principal Investigator(s): United States Department of Commerce. Bureau of the Census
Summary:
The Modified Race Data Summary File provides data from Census 2000 for all persons in the United States and Puerto Rico, where the race data have been modified to meet the needs of selected data users. This modification reconciles the Census 2000 race categories with those race categories that appear in the data from administrative records, which are used to produce population estimates and projections.
