Scope of Study
Summary: Established in 1975, the Fast Response Survey System (FRSS) collects issue-oriented data useful to educational analysts, planners, and decision makers. FRSS data provision is intended to provide educational professionals with information not as quickly available through traditional National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) surveys. FRSS collects data from state education agencies and national samples of other educational organizations and participants, e.g., local education agencies, public and private elementary and secondary schools, elementary and secondary school teachers and principals, and public and school libraries.
