The Private School Survey series was created by the United States Department of Education, National Center for Education Statistics, with data collected and edited by the Council for American Private Education (CAPE), and the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA). The series provides information on private elementary and secondary schools in the United States. Data are provided on the type and location of school, school's religious affiliation status, enrollment, grade levels, teachers, students, and school graduates.
