Register for a free, virtual meeting? Why would I do that?

Indeed, you are not required to register here for the 2009 ICPSR OR Meeting. You can simply review, select, and register for the webinar sessions you find most relevant. You will find the session descriptions and individual session registration links on the Sessions & Presentations page.

However, to make your participation in the webinars more comfortable, particularly for those of you without speakers or who find yourself in open office spaces, ICPSR has secured 200 Axis-102 Labtec headsets w/ microphone appropriate for Internet voice chat. The first 200 registrants will receive a headset and a packet of ICPSR promotional materials for your institution.

These materials will be mailed to the address you provide below, and registration requests much be completed no later than September 10, 2009.

Please note that VoIP is not required to participate. Conference call phone numbers will also be provided for each live webinar session.
