2007 OR Meeting Highlights

Over 110 ICPSR Official Representatives met in Ann Arbor on October 18-20 for a productive and informative meeting. The 2007 conference theme was "ICPSR and the Social Science Commons: Sharing Data with the Community." It was a thought-provoking and informative meeting as ORs convened to discuss issues related to the rapidly changing social science research community.

The conference was notable for its symposium, titled "The Present and Future of Federal Funding for Social Science Research" that featured David Lightfoot, National Science Foundation, David McMillen, National Archives and Records Administration, and Howard Silver, COSSA.
