Nonmember Access to Data

Some ICPSR data are freely available for anyone to download from our Web site. These data are part of the topical archives at ICPSR and generally include data pertaining to criminal justice, health and aging, substance abuse and mental health, child care, and health and medical care. Other data, referred to as members-only data, can only be downloaded by individuals at member institutions.

If you are not affiliated with an ICPSR institution, you can obtain data for a fee of $500 per dataset. First, find the datasets you want on the ICPSR Web site. Note the study number of the datasets and contact ICPSR User Support for pricing and downloading information.
