Those queried were asked how often they trusted the federal government, with whom they placed blame for the federal government shutdown, and whether they supported the most recent Republican budget proposal. Respondents were also asked if they experienced any personal inconvenience as a result of the shutdown and if they considered the country to be in a state of crisis.
