Careers and Internships
ICPSR offers opportunities for internships, research associates, and other positions leading to careers in data science.
Student Internships
ICPSR's summer internship program provides students with thorough grounding in the tools and best practices of data science and digital assets management. Interns gain experience with the major statistical analysis programs, and are involved in the work of preparing data for archiving and dissemination. They attend courses in the Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research, and also participate in a lunch and lecture series that exposes them to the different aspects of ICPSR.
The internship program is excellent preparation for advanced studies and careers in data science and social science research.
