Network Access
Many of you will want access to the Internet while attending the IASSIST conference. We provide the following information regarding network access at the University of Michigan Union (conference venue) as well as access around the U-M campus and in other parts of Ann Arbor.
Michigan Union
Internet access will be available in a computer lab (Pond Room) at the Michigan Union. The lab will be open from 8am - 5pm on conference days. For those who want to use their own laptops, a few network ports will be available for you to connect to in the computer lab. There will be no wireless access available at the Union.
University of Michigan Libraries
Computers at the Hatcher Graduate Library (location of the Tuesday IASSIST reception) and the Shapiro Undergraduate Library all have guest access with the uniqname "library" and password "library".
Hatcher Graduate Library will be open 8am to 12am Monday to Thursday, 8am to 6pm Friday, and 10am to 6pm Saturday for the week of IASSIST.
The Shapiro Undergraduate Library will be open 8am to 5am Monday through Friday, 10am to 5am Saturday, for the week of IASSIST.
Printing services are available with the purchase of a copy card.

- All the guest rooms in Cambridge House, part of the Michigan Union, have access to the Internet. An ethernet card and an ethernet cable must be provided by the guest to obtain access. These can be purchased at the U-M Computer Showcase downstairs in the Michigan Union.
