Accommodations

IASSIST 2006 will be held at the Michigan Union at 530 South State Street on U-M's central campus. Several rooms have been blocked at the following locations:

The Campus Inn and the Bell Tower offer both standard rooms and suites. The rooms at the Cambridge House are all standard-sized hotel rooms. These facilities are all within walking distance of the Michigan Union. To utilize the room blocks set aside for the conference at the Campus Inn and Bell Tower, please call the phone number of the facility you prefer and ask to be placed in the block of rooms under group code 5473. Those rooms blocks may be utilized immediately. The room block at Cambridge House is available for online reservations. Reservations must be made no later than April 22.

For guests who are looking for less expensive rates or who register after the deadline, the following hotels are fairly close to central campus. Not all, however, are within walking distance, but they are on the city bus route (see the FAQs section on city buses):
