Summary: | The Israeli Election Study research project
is a combined initiative of the Israeli Institute of Applied Social
Research, Tel Aviv University, and the Hebrew University. The
project, directed principally by Asher Arian of Haifa University,
surveys the political behavior and attitudes of Israeli voters before
and after elections to the Knesset, the Israeli parliament, and for the
Israeli Prime Minister. The series provides data on Israeli voters'
attitudes toward national issues, such as the issues of peace and
security, defense, Arab-Israeli relations, Jerusalem, Lebanon,
Palestinian terrorism and statehood, democracy in Israel, the economy,
minorities, and religion, and the party and politicians best suited to
address these issues effectively. |
