Summary: | The Instructional Subset series was developed by ICPSR with data drawn from a variety of sources such as the American National Election Studies, the Ten Cities Survey of Citizen Attitudes Toward Local Government Project, the National Data Program for the Social Sciences Surveys, Eurobarometer 3: European Men and Women, and the Surveys of Public Attitudes and Response to Federal Energy Policy Series. The subsets were partly funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the National Science Foundation. This series provides subset data for analysis by students. The files contain data suitable for instruction on topics such as Americans' views of current public issues, voting behavior, American foreign policy, local government, energy conservation and the environment, societal violence, social control and change, and general social issues, including Americans' perceptions of their own life situations and quality of life. |
