How can I submit postings or comment on postings in the ICPSR Blog?

Anyone can view The ICPSR Blog:
http://community.livejournal.com/ormeeting/

In order to post to the blog or comment on other people's postings, you need to have a basic (free) LiveJournal account (create account). The process takes about two minutes and requires you to provide your email address. LiveJournal will send you an email, containing a link you must click as the final step in setting up your account. The wait for this email is very short.

Once you have created this account, you can post or comment any time, just by logging in. You can log in at the top left of the ICPSR Blog page, in the gray bar.

Post new threads by clicking on the "Post to this community" link in the left navigation bar of the ICPSR blog.

Ground Rules

  1. Keep all discussions focused on topics related to ICPSR. Don't derail discussion threads. If you have a new topic, post a new thread. If you want to discuss a previously posted topic, post a comment in that thread.
  2. If you're going to post large chunks of text, please use a meaningful title and an LJ-Cut.
  3. Please do not use the blog to contact ICPSR staff. ICPSR staff will not be reading this blog regularly.
  4. Be respectful of other members of the community. Please avoid discussion of religion and politics; do not use LiveJournal icons that can be viewed as objectionable; do not use profanity in your posts. Keep the discussions polite and informative.
