Evidence-Based Materials
Evidence-Based Materials include substance abuse treatment-related materials from NEDS and other contracts supported by the Office of Evaluation, Scientific Analysis, and Synthesis (OESAS), Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT). Materials are provided in multiple formats, from technical to non-technical, and include:
Technical Reports - These are analytic reports on treatment topics such as access, services, cost, and outcomes.
Analytic Summaries - These are brief descriptions in non-technical language of the analyses, findings, and implications presented in NEDS technical reports.
Fact Sheets - These are highlights of key evaluation and analytic findings, methods and tools in substance abuse treatment.
Briefing Toolkit - These are topic focused modules of data charts that describe treatment and treatment outcomes.
Bibliographies - These are guides to literature or to both literature and data sources on topics of relevance to the substance abuse treatment evaluation field, including annotated references and brief descriptions of relevant data sources.
Literature Reviews - These are comprehensive overviews that synthesize the major issues and findings on topics relevant to substance abuse treatment.
