Where Are You Afraid? (Fear) / Fear and Guns

Questions regarding the subject's fear in certain situations were expanded from the Exposure to Violence instrument to include more locations. It was named Where are you afraid? in Wave 2. These questions appear in Fear and Guns in Wave 3.

WAVE 2: The Where Are You Afraid? questionnaire (PDF 3.2MB) included questions regarding the subject's fear in certain situations. It was administered to subjects in Cohorts 9 to 15.

WAVE 3: The Fear and Guns instrument (PDF 2.2MB) obtained information regarding the subject's fear in certain situations and the accessibility and use of guns. It was administered to subjects in Cohorts 6 to 12.
