Introduction to NACJD

The goal of the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD) is to provide ready access to criminal justice research and administrative data and to promote the sharing of these data among researchers, academics, policymakers, service providers, and others, thereby increasing the use of the data in understanding and assessing criminal justice issues and problems and the impact of related systems and institutions. The data archive is also intended to expand the variety of media in which data are available and ensure that data are in a user friendly format.

If you have not already done so, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with NACJD by browsing some of the links on the NACJD Home Page.
