ICPSR-Managed Email Lists

  • icpsr-announce. This list is populated with ICPSR ORs, DRs, Council members and the public, and carries general announcements from ICPSR staff regarding new developments at ICPSR such as new archives, new data tools or resources, or general announcements on Summer Program activities/registration. ORs/DRs/Council members cannot unsubscribe from this list. This list is available to the public, and the public can unsubscribe/subscribe at will. How to subscribe.

  • olc-announce. This list was initially populated with ICPSR ORs, DRs, and Council members, and carries announcements from ICPSR staff specifically related to the Online Learning Center and teaching with data issues. Announcements might include notices of new DDLGs or other teaching resources and tools. ORs/DRs/Council members can unsubscribe from this list. This list is available to the public, and the public can unsubscribe/subscribe at will. How to subscribe.

  • summprog-announce. This list was initially populated with ICPSR ORs, DRs, and Council members, and carries announcements from ICPSR staff specifically related to ICPSR's Summer Program. Announcements might include updates on particular courses or information on new courses or scholarships. ORs/DRs/Council members can unsubscribe from this list. This list is available to the public, and the public can unsubscribe/subscribe at will. How to subscribe.

  • recent-updates-and-additions. Recent updates and additions to ICPSR data or services. How to subscribe.

  • url-changes. This list is used to communicate major changes to the ICPSR Web site, especially those changes that would affect other Web sites that link to information on the ICPSR Web site. How to subscribe.

Other Email Lists

  • eurobarometer. In 1995, ICPSR and the ZA (Zentralarchiv fur Empirische Sozialforschung, Universitat zu Koln) announced this service for users of the Eurobarometer data collections. The mailing list "eurobarometer" was created to provide a venue for researchers to interact with each other and to increase communication between the archives and the user community.   • iassist-l. The IASSIST list is currently maintained at iasst-l@columbia.edu and has been there since April 1997, when it moved to Columbia University after being supported for many years at Yale University. The purpose of the list is to facilitate the dissemination of information among members of the International Association for Social Science Information Service and Technology.
