IAED Survey Documentation and AnalysisWelcome to IAED's SDA (Survey Documentation & Analysis) System. This set of programs was developed and is maintained by the Computer-assisted Survey Methods Program (CSM) at the University of California, Berkeley. The following IAED data collection is available for use with the on-line Survey Documentation and Analysis.
NCES-Related Survey Documentation and Analysis (SDA)NCES currently provides access to selected holdings from both its survey and aggregate data: Survey Data: The Data Analysis System </das/> (DAS) is a web-based software application that provides public access to NCES survey data. The DAS allows users to produce tables and to estimate covariance analyses from NCES data sets. There is a separate DAS for each data set, but all have a consistent interface and command structure. Each DAS contains a detailed description of how each variable was created, and includes question wording for items coming directly from the interview. Users can create programming instruction files, run tables and regressions, and view output using a web browser. Complete information about this system may be found at the NCES Survey Documentation and Analysis. Aggregate Data: NCES has developed an interactive tool to allow users to compare the characteristics of different postsecondary institutions through its Peer Analysis System. For more information on this capability, see the IPEDS Peer Analysis System. For quick access to information on postsecondary institutions, public schools or districts, public libraries, or private schools in the United States, see the Global Education Locator. For information on education finance for elementary, secondary, and postsecondary institutions, see the Education Finance Statistics Center. CCD Build A Table (BAT)You can now access all CCD datasets from 1995 to the most recent year available with a new 'Build a Table' tool that provides information on CCD data across time and at all levels of the public school universe: state, metropolitan area, county, district, and school: |
